Join us for worship to begin the season of Lent on Ash Wednesday where we contemplate our own mortality, spiritual lives, and need for God. This service will include the imposition of ashes and an invitation into the Lenten discipline.

Join us at Noon in Cole Chapel or at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary for the imposition of ashes. Childcare will be available for ages 0-4 in Room 241 during the 6:30 pm service. Please enter the church through the Mulberry door that can be found on the Mulberry Street side of the church in the center of the building. The elevator is on the left and the Sanctuary and childcare are on the 2nd floor.

The 6:30 pm service will be live-streamed at fumcdenton.com/live and on Facebook. For those of you joining from home, you are welcome to use any other household item as ashes—some popular choices include glitter, chalk, spices, and dirt for self-imposition at home.
